I am an experienced network security architect with a proven track record of success. I have designed and implemented security solutions for a variety of companies, including a highly regulated financial organization. I am also experienced in risk and control assessment, and I have a strong understanding of the associated regulations and industry best practices.
In my current role, I design and implement complex security solutions for medium to large enterprises. I also act as a technical lead and manage a team of five exceptional professionals. I am skilled in setting clear objectives, fostering growth through effective communication and collaboration, and achieving outstanding results.
I started my professional career as a Helpdesk Agent in 2003. I wanted to change and build my career, so I became a Team Leader and technical mentor for five years. I continued to look for personal development and saw that there was more potential and personal interest in IT networking and security. I decided to move to that field, even though it meant taking a step back. It wasn't easy, as I had to spend months preparing for my first job interview with no background in IT networking. However, I eventually landed my first job as a Network Administrator. Many people thought this was a step back, but after 10 years, I can safely say that it wasn't. I continued to work hard, study, and develop, and I had the opportunity to work in multiple areas and companies.
My hobbies
Before COVID and before my first child was born, I traveled a lot. I am still interested in exploring the world, even on Google Maps Street View. I really enjoyed traveling and driving through the United States, as it is so diverse in terms of natural treasures. While traveling, I take photos and sometimes videos to record our memories.
Here are some pictures from our latest trips:
